Got me looking at C90's on ebay now :-?
I rode a few C90's around Vietnam in 2006. Flew into Hanoi and flew out of Saigon. Travelled between towns by bus but everywhere we stopped we hired C90's
They are actually fun to ride :)
I'm tempted to buy one and maybe take a trip somewhere, good thing about them is they are so easy to find parts for especially in Asia as there are millions of them.

Used to ride them in Thailand too

Had one myself either late 70s or early 80s it would run for miles on a gallon of petrol. :) :)

Yep Ed March, what a guy!!
There's quite a few of his C90 exploits at c90adventures on you tube.
BTW have you seen the prices of decent C90's recently??

Swanny, I had 2 C90s and 1 C70 in the late 70s early 80s.

On one of the C90s the legshields were all worn away from cranking her around the Lincolnshire farm lanes/tracks. I remember thrashing the guts out of her everywhere with the aim of seeing if I could blow the engine up. Not a bloody chance-bullet proof and returned an amazing mileage to a gallon of fuel. Really loved em real little gems [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I've got a '71 Yamaha V50, two stroke version of the C50, legshields, 3 speed auto, dodgy link front suspension, etc.
Absolutely love it, gonna be out in the snow around the New Forest tomorrow, might even be able to lock the feeble brakes up if icy enough ;D

Good find there Swanny, had flashback from when i went through Iran just before the Islamic revolution,I found them really friendly no problems at all, only at the Turkish/Iran Border did i have any hassel and that took 2hrs to get through. Not as long as the Iran/Afghan border than took 5hrs to get through.
