Did anyone see the images and review in this week’s MCN on the new CB1100 from ‘Big H’? And what did you think?
On first impressions I kind of think I really like it – you know that feeling when you hear a new release from one of your fav bands and it dosen’t quite nail you to the mast, yet you are sure it will in time.
The quality of the finish is what you would expect from Honda and looks top-drawer. Certainly not a negative comment – although obviously a retro and a beautiful one at that, in my view, it does look like a bit of a mish-mash of different iconic models of the early 70s. Clicking on the rear view pic brought back fond memories of my 1974 SOHC CB750K4 (Grrrr, sold it for £600 a few years ago) chromed encased tail light and all. Would love to ride one just to see what she handles like down memory lane.
