    Vtwins like Harley's sound loud at low revs but don't get much louder.
    Inline fours , especially sports bikes, make all their power therefore their noise at the high end of the rev range.
    I always ride loud and only been done once but I was stopped for something else in the first place.

    To be honest, anything up that high in the rev range in 2nd or above and I am loosing my licence if I am pulled, so the amount of noise it was making is not really an issue.
