Brakes were very good. Don't think there's much out there with more power for the money? Twin exhausts look meaty. Personally around a litre I'd be looking for something like a 2004 Kawasaki Z1000 (4 exhausts), or Triumph Speed Triple. That said the Honda Firestorms look nice... or a Fireblade is a classic. Or A Daytona 955i, or a Zx-9r...
What would you know, don't you ride a Puch Maxi lol
those of a more tender age will have to google that one

I had a puch maxi when I was a "yoof". Id happily make room in the garage for one today as well as it was a fun little thing, I swapped it for a Honda c70 and regretted it the same day, the c70 was faster but not as fun to ride. Plus it was a PUCH which sounded exotic

So after numerous quotes from insurance companies I can't afford a blackbird the cheapest I got was 1500 for the year sod that my ninja is only 200 for the year .so I have no idea where they got that price from .I'm 31 with 3 years no claims .does not make any sense .I guess insurance companies charge what they like? 😤

Get a quote on a zzr1100. Very similar performance, nicer to ride, slightly cheaper to buy, much nicer looking (IMO) and can put them on a classic policy.

That seems a bit crazy..... do you live in a very high motor crime area?

I insured a GSXR1000 (also an insurance group 16 bike) at about that age and with similar no claims and it cost me £115 third party fire and theft for the first year!
