Try the Trail Riders Fellowship (TRF) - Wilts has a really good branch, last I knew they meet in Melksham (The Pilot in Bowerhill actually) - check the TRF website for info regarding the monthly meeting date (or ask the pub) - a very friendly bunch who'll be able to sort you out, don't be afraid to ask.
Golden rule for off-roading: NEVER RIDE ALONE
Have fun
I'm with wilts trf so as Scotty suggested the trf is your best bet to make sure where you ride is legal. All green lanes we use are "roads", and so bikes have to be road legal. Yearly membership is about £60 and you then choose which groups you want to be part of.More than happy to take you out around some easy lanes just south of Bath, or good beginners gravel/grass routes on Salisbury plain.
Would love that jer much appreciated thank you
Will wait a few weeks for weather to settle the dust down and then we can sort out some rides. Are weekends or week days better for you.
Weekends are best for me as working weekdays
Looking at running a few dates for southwest bikers forum , probably last weekend oct and 2nd weekend nov as they are shown as no live firing weekends. Numbers will be limited to 6 per date inline with SP guidelines.
Ok do I need to pay or anything or just turn up with bike and meet you somewhere.also what clothing do you suggest to. Wear
White tie and tails...obviously
