At The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, this was voted the funniest joke

"I keep randomly shouting out 'Broccoli' and 'Cauliflower'. I think I might have florets." – Olaf Falafel

    But....

He & the Festival are being criticised for mocking Tourettes.

It's the age we're living in now and we should continue to refuse to subscribe . As Billy Connolly said " Anything's fair game when it comes to humour "

Yeah I can see it from both sides, yes it's a prime example of today's society looking for things to be offended by,
but that said just think if it was a joke about someone's colour or religion, it would have been banned the 1st he said it (horror of all horrors if it had involved a black Muslim!)
Personally I think it's a load of ball-bags and as a joke it's barely worth a quick snigger, I think the bigger story should be "Edinburgh fringe festival yet again fails to bring anything funny to the table".

Exactly, if it's said in jest and not directly at someone who could personally be hurt by it then where's the harm.

Being offended by words is just admitting you can't control your emotions.
I fail to see how that is anyone else's problem but your own.

personally I thought it was funny, and I don't give a flying feck about the snowflakes that moaned about it. They should all stand out in the sun and melt away and leave the world for us adults
