Ok I need epic as Wales can be, but nice road up near Devils Bridge I remember and I'm sure their is a resoivior nearby too?

This is the route I take but doesn't go via Devil's Bridge. Nice scenery and some good roads though.
    A466 to Monmouth
    B4223 to Abergavenny
A40 Across Brecon to Llandovery (West End Cafe)
Then I pick up the A482 to Aberaeron
Then nice ride up A487 to Machnylleth
Chips at the Dolphin in Barmouth, Happy Days

It does sound a good route
We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.”

Someone did warn me about unmarked Police bikes with a clear panel in a pannier and a camera around the A487 that would drop in front of you then pull away. Never seen any so not sure if it's true. Even if it is it's more likely a summer thing.

Hope you have a good trip !

I've plumbed in that exact route, it will make a change for my usual Gloucester route.
