I like just randomly riding with no plan other than avoiding the main/busier roads. See where you end up, there are so many forgotten about back roads around you can have a lot of fun.

Not sure where you are but try Compton Abbas airfield, nice roads and a few old planes to look at while you warm up with a cuppa. A30 Salisbury/Shaftesbury is a nice stretch when it's quiet and middle of the day on Friday it should be, Donheads and Tisbury for back roads and pretty villages.

Out of Warminster to Heytesbury the B390 to Shrewton is usually quiet and you can take in a view of Stonehenge if you go a bit further then up to Upavon/Devizes

If you fancy a real potter then New Forest should be pretty quiet and some roads are challenging if you stick close to 40 limit, other boring to ride but nice views, Rhinefield Drive to Brockenhurst a bumpy, twisty road and fun even at 40 or should it be 30?! : )
