Anyone else been watching the new series? The first one was a tandem record setting attempt, and the second was about getting to the Pikes peak hillclimb, on a kind of one off bike, wont give too much away, but well worth a watch on 4od

Saw the first one and the last half of Sundays, will be interesting to see the first half !
Pikes Peak road just awesome !
I really enjoy these series' - the pikes peak road looked awesome and he rode it brilliantly
Enjoyed the first series, and this one has raised the bar!!
Well worth a watch, as was his Spitfire programme!!
What an amazing guy, pardon the pun. Love watching his series :-)
Really good show.
Love the way it's good entertainment and also goes into the tech side a bit too.
I never realised air pressure made such a drastic difference to both engine and rider.
There's still something I don't like about him though.
I think it's the whole "I'm just an amateur racer. I don't get paid"
Are there many amateur racers driving V12 Aston Martins?
The poor lad from oooop north act has run it's course for me.
It's all a bit J-Lo "I'm still Jenny from the block"
I did like the bit where he asked a local girl out for a pint though. That were class!
An amazing bike. Loved the spitting flames.
See he is likely to ride a BMW in the TT next year. He deserves to get a win
Pikes peak was excellent viewing
Hope he finally gets to win a TT race in his career, comes so close - I would hate to see him finish without getting a win on the mountain course.
He probably stands his best chance if he rides the BMW.
Always worried that the media presence he has now would detract his concentration from winning a TT.
Can't see how they can claim a tandem record when they did it on a machine with 3 wheels - it was a trike!
Part of the record would be battling fatigue and keeping your balance.
Pikes peak was clearly shot on a budget, one camera at the start, one bolted by his bum and another at the top.
Commentator makes it all very dramatic but a lot of detail gets left out
His class only had 4 bikes in it - His main rival was on a 1980 Kawasaki and third was on a 1973 Kawasaki.
Makes you wonder if they pick a class with the best chance of winning
Winner of the bikes overall was 1.34 minutes faster
yeap, really enjoyed the first two so far, bike hill climb was epic, shame the bike wasn't in top performance condition, still great though.
