Someone has asked me to go in to Bath and remove a battery from his bike as he had trouble accessing it. I know it may sound daft, but I want to ensure I can locate it to save a wasted journey. The bike is a ZX1100-d7 1052cc Feb 1999. Thanks in anticipation Ken.

Yuk ! I think you need to take the tank off. Seat, neg cable, pos cable. Turn off fuel, remove pipe. Screws front and rear of tank. Great design eh?
I only have one viceā€¦I lie.

As Burbler said. **** job just for a battery.
When it's your time to go it's your time, so don't let it catch you.

And on the ZZR; although simple enough to do two bolts at the front another couple at the back disconnect fuel pipe and lift off; not forgetting the wires for the fuel pump.
Orange ones are faster, but red ones are more comfortable!
