I recently purchased a new Delkevic exhaust for my bike. I'd read a few negative things about them online, but the cost of the silencer proved too much for me to resist.

I went for the 200mm Mini 8" silencer for my 1999 Kawasaki ER5 and the thing sounds amazing. I have to say, I am really impressed with the whole purchase. It arrived with no problems when expected, as described. In the box I got the silencer, link pipe, clamps, bracket and instructions.

I've got some before and after shots of the exhaust for you:

And two YouTube videos for you.

    One of the bike revving:

And an onboard video of a short trip home from ASDA:

I recently sent them an email to say how ace I thought the exhaust was, and they sent me a free gift in the post!

If you're looking to get a new exhaust, I'd definitely recommend them. Especially seeing as they're a British company! Check out their range: http://www.delkevic.co.uk/

The camera is a GoPro HD Hero2. I think it was set to record at 1080p at 24fps. It came with a suction cup which I mounted on the fuel tank to record. The HD Hero3 is out now so the Hero2 is slightly cheaper than it was, but I think it'll still set you back about £200. Worth it though, its a great camera!

Mine was £119.99 from this link: http://www.delkevic.co.uk/?section=s...erm=&order_by=

They do full systems, downpipes and a range of different exhaust types etc for different bikes which you can find here: http://www.delkevic.co.uk/?section=s...=exhaust_s7rhj

The video was filmed without the baffle in. I haven't actually ridden with it in yet as I love the sound so much. Sure its loud, but its not too loud so long as I'm not in the higher revs and I've ridden past plenty of louder bikes and cars before.

    I'd recommend Delkevic to anyone.

so has it done anything to the bike ?? as in power has it improved it?, or is it purely for noise and the look

Honestly? I don't think so. However, it certainly feels faster than the stock exhaust, but that's probably just because I can actually hear the engine accelerating which gives the sense of speed.

Like shiftblake said, it sounds amazing now and I'm always itching to go out for a ride! Managed a few hours yesterday before the wind and rain came. Fingers crossed for next weekend. Can't wait for the weather to get better so I can start commuting to work again (being a new car owner has made me a bit of a wimp!)
