I want to coat my bike in this stuff ready for the salty roads.
Does any one have any advice on where to and where not to spray it??
Is it ok to coat pretty much all of the bike or are there areas to avoid?
Don't worry I won't be spraying it on the tyres ;D

Will one can be enough to coat a bike??
Where is the best place to buy it??
Is anyone doing a bulk buy this year??

    Thanks

Warm can in hot water before spraying, or it will dribble and spit, coat rag for those tricky bits, everything unpainted metal, bar tyres and discs/pads/levers/seat, wd40 is best for the seat pad.

AVOID spraying brakes and footgrips as its also an active lubricant, you can pray it everywhere else, the engine will smoke up like a fooker straight after but it still works even though its burnt off the collector pipes, nearest and cheapest around here Swanny is wiltshire microlights £33 quid in Westbury is the nearest, there largest spray bottle, or you can buy the smaller cans, its basically like a wd40 but neutralises electron particles hence prohibiting corrosion.

The worst things to get it on are the brake disks/pads and the tyres. I take wheels off and pads out of calipers when I do mine. Its very easy to overspray - you don't need much. If you put too much on anywhere near the brake discs then when you take the bike out for a spin the centrifugal force will spin it onto the brake disc and then pads. If that happens you will have no brakes so be careful.

I buy a litre and pump spray and that does two bikes for 2 years. The spray cans will do one bike, once. If you buy the litre option then as Mitch say's it works much much (did I say much?) better when warmed in some hot water. Its a dirt magnet you just have to remember the dirt is on top of a protective layer.

Forgot to mention that it has a distinct odour and if used in confined spaces for any length of time you might get a headache.

If the paint is 100% then no there's no point but I would still expect there to be some areas where the paint has worn off and there will be unpainted fastners etc to consider. Obviously there's no need to ACF plastic parts.

    "In my opinion"

You cover everywhere except brakes, tyres, controls. Painted metal and plastic will all benefit from the protection.

As for applying it... By the time you've paid for a decent sprayer to put it on you may as well have just booked in with Nooj for his winter bike treatment and three hours later your bike is cleaner than it's ever been and totally protected.

However many times you do it, he's done it more
