Whilst I'm here, did anyone get a photo of me being pinned to the ground by my bike in the car park of the Horse and Hound in Broadway? : : :

If they did then that would surely be a "caption competition" picture.Originally Posted by Scotty

Gerry,
I can get both knees down at the same time - I've got the carpet burns to prove it.
Under the strict competition rules am I eligible to enter? ;D
Don't panic mods - no photos to follow. ;D
gerry you didnt even have any sliders on
G,
Looking good but for the love of God...GET RID OF THOSE BLOODY LEATHERS BABE!!!
Roxy xx
I'm going to get the thinking cap on ;D ;D
Roxy: I'm waiting for the black Alpine Stars at GW to come down in price to match the RED & Blue ones on sale now, an insider tells me they will sooner or later
Going to keep the yellow for my Track God impressions ;D
Rinksy: My knees are to close to my bum to need sliders, think the only way I'll ever do knee-down is immediately proceeding a bad thing happening
Crappy day for riding folks... time to get the camera out

Gerry, can there be a prize for "most stupid person putting his/her knee down WITHOUT leathers?????......

I have just had an idea...... now to find someone to take the photo!
I think you can agree that the knee is down.
This is my 1992 Flymo Ninja 600 in original Kawasaki Orange. Had her for many years now and just cant seem to part with her. I did buy a smaller 400 model just found it a big harder to control. This one is pretty much standard apart from a changed spinny thing underneath. gets a regular service at the end of season and then put away for the winter. But, she never fails to start come the springtime.
Anyway this picture was taken today at the famous Monkton Park. It was taken on the 4th corner during the first session of the day. The track was a bit damp but it seemed to be drying. However, there was a slight shower at the start of the second session. This was to be my downfall. Leaving daisy bends (background) before heading right into Gladioli , i think i hit the gas too hard and the back end went and threw me down on conifer straight. Thankfully i'm not too badly injured. A few cuts are bruises and a sprained wrist. (my doctor thinks that this was done on another activity).
The bike got a few scratches and may need a paint job. The getgoing lever and lock button detached themselves and will need replacing but, not too bad considering...
