Nothing to do with the SAW 5 thread I will add!
Does anyone have a chainsaw I could borrow for a few days as I need to hack the trees into some shape in my garden - the hedge trimmers not tough enough as the branches are too thick
Cheers

You sure it is the trees that you wanna hack and not say the neighbours??
My old neighbours it would have been a possibility after they reported me for aledigly wheelying up the street > but the new ones are okOriginally Posted by igbell
hmmmmmmmmmmmm chainsaw nice choice :P, i would lend ya mine but its not with me since the bloody council thought it would be a great idea to stick us in a flat
I've got a selection of saws (helps I suppose being a tree surgeon). I could lend you one or might be easier to give you a hand doing it. I'm in Newbury so too far away. When you looking at doing it, I'm at Silverstone this weekend?
Cheers Drinky I can do thursdays if that helps as work every saturday and every other sunday (so off this sunday and then 2 weeks time)
Thats a possibility this week, I work Thursday mornings but get away aby 12.30 so could be over there by 1330 if you like.
cool that would be a great help - I live about 1/2 mile from George Whites
How about we meet up there then? If you pm me a mobile number I'll give you a bell when I'm on my way.
How many trees do you need doing?
its overgrown conifer bushes thats branches are way too thick (bit like me b4 anyone says it)
but I don't need the full length just a section for my new workshop - the rest can wait as about 40ft+ long
