After adjusting the clutch, it occasionally pops out of 5th back into 4th (telltale is revs rise and it SCREAMS at me) and sometimes from 2nd back to N, have adjusted the screw back to its original position, where i had no issues, but still happens. any ideas please before i pass it to a garage and get shafted for exuberant amounts of money
onwards and upwards and sometimes a little sidewards....

How old is your Hyosung? My 12 year old Blade with 35k on the clock, doesn't jump out of gear, weirdly enough.

i cant see it being a clutch problem entirely all the clutch does is transfer the power through from engine to gear box.

the mechanism that changes gear is totally separate.

im not mechanic but i cant see the clutch making the gears drop out

if its dropping out of 5th back to 4th id say that 5th has not fully engaged

im just giving you some ideas to work on mate i dont have much knowledge of what im talking about ;D

Seriously though, i'd start with an oil change, it maybe that you are experiencing false neutrals, had that many moons ago on Suzuki's and an oild change cured. Possibly selector forks worn, possibly gear change lever pivot, could be not firm enough slection of gear, try adjusting the lever so you get a more positive selection. Check this thread for things to look at, same engine etc http://www.svrider.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54588

If it is changing gears as you say it shouldnt relate to the clutch. Make sure you are fully engaging gears firstly, then move on to checking if the selector is worn/bent/has movement
