    I am currently running the standard sports setup of 36 front and 42 rear and it feels good (all i've ever known so might be bad).

    I read somewhere a week or two ago that my bike should be running 36 for both front and rear.

    I am a little worried about dropping the rear pressure that much. Would would the affects be other than handling?

    I am riding a '92 Daytona 1000 (Hinckley) with original spec wheels (front 120/70/ZR17 & rear 160/60/ZR18).

    What are your opinions as I can't find where I saw the info and also can't find a tyre pressure chart?

    I run 36 psi but then how do you know that I know what I'm doing?
    Best try it and see how you get on. People like different styles of riding.

    This one here reckons 2.5 bar front and rear which is 36 psi.

    36psi front & rear as per bike manual.

    I used to run 32/36 solo and 36/42 with a pillion and/or luggage which was straight out of my bike's manual. Tend to leave it at 36/42 these days for whatever I'm carrying as I can't really tell the difference.

    Thanks for the advice and the information. Very interesting read especially that the forecourt guages are inaccurate. Will have to nick the one out of the car for the bike.

    Anyway, I'm have decided to drop the rear to 36 and see how she feels. Should be fun.

    Run mine 36 front and 40 back as per how i like it
