Course, back on topic, forgot to mention the most publicised 'wobbly' bike being the Honda ST1300 which has produced the term 'Pan weave' which, apparently, happens 110 mph+ on some earlier versions namely 2002 model. Looked this up and some test discovered a yaw in the rear wheel which caused headshake. In fact some police withdrew its use after a coroners verdict.
That didn't affect the standard bikes though did it? I thought it was just the police modified ones which had higher rated rear shocks to cope with all the kit they had bolted onto the rear of the thing. It was a while ago but I am sure the shape of the rear of the police bikes also spoilt air flow and started it to shimmy which then unsettled the rest of the bike because of the new shock which caused in some cases them to be thrown off.

They tested one a few years back on the runway at RAF Scampton where I am currently based and the test rider was indeed thrown off and quite badly hurt.

Graham rides hard enough, its just that he has arms that are about 8 foot long (must remember to stand about 9 foor away when i see him next), and that gives him a significant "leverage" advantage when a slap starts ...... ;-)
