I managed to pick up a new(er) bike up for Sam before the lockdown, a Yamaha yz85. Ive bought a few pieces online for general maintenance to keep me busy. Resprayed the expansion chamber with some high temp paint, and removed a lot of overspray on the bike, when someone had decided to give it a bit of a refresh with a rattle can. Best one so far has been the front mudguard, also resprayed, so I decided to go at it with a cutting compound and after a while, the paint now removed was left with a lot of light hazy scratches, looked pretty rough. decided to have a go at it with a heat gun to see if that would do anything, lightly going over the surface, and was amazed by the result! Brought it back to a really good finish, if i can work it out, i will post a couple of pics up to see the difference
