    I know it might look like the doofer-thingy, but it isn’t that either....

    I've the other half of the puzzle somewhere but can't find it
    It's a brake caliper piston.
    The abrasive material fell off of both brake pads !
    So, it was metal on metal on metal.
    And after way too much stamping on the pedal , aluminium being the softest, gave in first

    Big thanks to the Major for the ornament
    Everything else is shyte

    Don reckons you went to the same school of maintenance that he did - although he never quite managed that level!
