Just a heads up.
The M48 is closed this weekend and it's f'ing carnage.
Headed out early this morning for a blast up the A466 from Chepstow to Monmouth and was diverted across the new Severn bridge. No problem. Looped back at Magor and got to Chepstow that way. 10 minutes in saw a huge sign A466 closed. No access.
Bugger.
Ended up on the Devauden road, which was a cracking ride, and then back down the A48 to the Severn crossing.
By now traffic had built up and it was down to 10mph all the way from Magor to the M32 (about 20 miles). Everything leaving south Wales has to go the same way and to make things worse j22 is closed so you can't get off there either!
