I probably did recommend it, currently I probably would still despite all the faff I do still enjoy it. Though I’ll admit its not a sensible choice. Currently my logic is that S-types are also very cheap... maybe if I had one of those also then when I have issues with this one I could switch between the two or keep it for weekends... you can also get a 1998 v8 Jag Xj for very little money.. I wonder why more people aren’t snapping them up?

Sorry burbled, Respray is the original green

    Hmm, that may be why....

If you get anything from before march 2001, it's only £255 to road tax...not tooooo bad. Later ones can get into the painful £500 year a bracket. Makes more sense to go for a diesel then (something like 35mpg I expect) but, you could have a petrol V8 for several thousand pounds less.. wouldn't be a daily driver, but... could probably run it for a year and sell it for the same money as long as nothing major went on it (which, it might well do...)

    Just dreaming.

Sounds like Hamster's Lanchester on Top Gear.

Except he had pp 2,3 and 4 as well.
I only have one vice…I lie.
