Was having trouble on the FoD run yesterday. Couldn't get neutral or 1st.

Stalled it once and nearly collected an oncoming car whilst trying to pull away slightly uphill in 2nd or 3rd.

Was also having to sit with clutch in while marking or, later into the run, turning off the engine. In Devauden I waved the TEC past as the alarm had reset itself and I couldn't press the button with my heavier gloves on.

Slow corners were also a pain and evenshuuuuuually I forked off home. As BB said, the bridge was open earlier than expected.

Answer...the stop on the side stand had been damaged in my accident and it was swinging up too far and fouling the linkage lever between pedal and splined shaft.
I only have one vice…I lie.

I must admit I nearly had a heart attack when you 'inconvenienced' that car! Glad you tracked down the fault , hope that is the last of the niggling faults for you
We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.”

I thought that I'd alleviated the problem, but my bodge only lasted a few cycles of sidestand usage.

This is now a two pipe problem. Super glue and the blade off a fuse didn't last.
