I changed the oil and filter on my guzzi California today, who on earth designed it and decided to put the oil filter inside the engine. On most bikes an oil and filter change takes 15 mins tops, on the guzzi an hour and a half+. You have to drop the sump to get the filter out which takes 14 Allen bolts and 4 bolts, then you have to change 2 sump gaskets as for some reason the sumps in 2 bits. The gaskets alone cost me £26. Those Italians are mad. However all done now and loving the bike again.
