I’m looking to start a bit of a vintage restoration project. I’ve bought a beaten up Honda CB450 and am aiming to restore it to its former glory. I love café racers and the Black Bomber is one of my all-time favourite bikes. I lived in Asia for a while and there are a lot of these old bikes around, which whetted my appetite.
Ultimately I want to end up with something that looks something like this:
It’s pretty far from that at the moment but I’m sure I can get the old rustbucket up to scratch. I’ve been looking at vintage bike stores online but haven’t had much luck in finding good reconditioned parts so far. Does anyone have any pointers as to where to pick up good parts for a Honda of this type – either online or somewhere in the UK?
