We use Carsons when we need tyres. We find them fast friendly helpful and competitive,
We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.”

Carsons are very convenient, and highly regarded, if you want to save a few ££ there are very few other ways.

Ditto, Carson's are mine and Mike's default for tyres.

Cool. Master Tec won't fit tyres they haven't supplied, so looks like it'll be Carson!

Went over to Carson today, had it fitted while I waited. Staff member who served me was very knowledgeable, 17.95 for fitting.

What are people's views on mixing tyres? A couple of my mates seemed horrified when I suggested I might keep the existing Metzeler on the front!

Personally I always have matching pairs - usually works out at 2 x rears to 1 x front. Whether I could tell the difference or not isn't the point for me, it's another unknown variable to take off the list to worry about.

I ended up changing the front shortly after anyway as it was pretty close to the limit.

For info Carson charge 17.95 for repairs too. Picked up a nail in my rear over the weekend > but at least it was a clean hole so they could plug it

£17.95 is cheaper than CMC, but still steep, no competition means they can charge what they want, GS the part worn place on Bumpers farm charge £10 for car tyres, unfortunately they can't do bikes, though i always press them, and they say many ask for it.
