A man whose graffiti caused £20,000 damage to the Avon Gorge in Bristol has been jailed for 17 months
.
Stephen Tiger, 33, of Napier Road, Avonmouth, admitted spray painting the cliff face with his tag 'WES' last June.

He was identified from a photograph taken by a member of the public.

"Tiger caused significant damage to a prominent landmark in the city which is seen by thousands of people every day," said PC Stuart King.
"I am very pleased with the sentence as it shows that acts of mindless vandalism will be treated seriously by the courts," he said.
