    Hello,

I'm RobLee and I decided not so long ago that I was going to take the plunge and learn to ride after wanting to give it a go for a few years. A friend of mine unexpectedly announced he had done the DAS course and turned up with his bike, which made me rather jealous and gave me the nudge I needed. Last week I did my CBT, doing my theory test this weekend and am now considering my best path onto a bike!

Looking forward to the adventure ahead!

Hello and welcome to the group and to riding
Orange ones are faster, but red ones are more comfortable!

I passed my CBT last year and then got a CBF 125 for a couple of months then after a while i did my Mod1 and 2 in Mar/ April of this year. Good luck with your test. Gary

    Thanks Gary,
I'm thinking of doing the same. Looking around for a 125 to practice on before going for the full DAS. I'm thinking YBR125 just because there are so many and they appear hold their value well.

Are you still on your 125cc or did you get a bigger bike as soon you could?

Hi Roblee, as soon as I got my licence I traded my 125 in for Fazer 600. It all depends how you get on with your CBT you may want to go DAS, at the time I didn't feel comfy enough to do my DAS so I spent sometime with a 125, then took my mod 1 & 2.
who are you doing your CBT with?

I did my CBT a couple weeks back and passed my theory test on Saturday so I'm going to go straight in for the DAS and ride around on a 125 in the meantime.
Hopefully it won't be too long as I don't fancy the faster roads with no top end headroom.
