    Hi,

Ok confession time - I dropped the bike, (at a standstill - when to put left foot down, and the ground wasn't there), so the bike fell to the left and the
left hand pannier lid took most of the fall and got scratched with some deep grooves in it. It is black plastic vinyl type of finish, similar to a car dash.
Does anyone know if this can be fixed? There is no structural damage, just cosmetic (and my pride of course!)

    Many thanks John

Yeah, just call chips away or similar, they'll have it spankers in no time.

    Hi Mitch,
Thanks for the heads up. I decided to have a go myself. I sanded it down with very fine sand paper wet & dry, and I then used high builder primer to fill in the scratches. It seems to have worked well with most of the damage, but if you look carefully you can still see the deeper grooves, but it is a lot less noticeable.
    Cheers John
