Had a go on my dad's Montesa Cota 4RT on Sunday.
Bearing in mind I've been riding since I was about 9 I though I would take to it like a duck to water.
    Not so.
You basically have to forget everything you know about road/track riding and start again.
From what I can gather, the first rule of trials riding is:
    Don't touch the clutch
The second rule of trials riding is:
    DON'T TOUCH THE CLUTCH!

Great fun and highly skilful but ultimately not for me.
I don't think I'll be worrying Toni Bou any time soon.

Impressive skills there, a bit of off roading is about it for me, keep falling off that too, very different to road riding.

We all have trials bikes here and your right it is a totally different style of riding to anything else you may do, but so so much fun when you start jumping big logs or rocks
