we have had this all the time. in the 60's Coombe gave out free tickets to neighbours in surrounding villages, yet we could hear the F2 cars and Mike Hailwood racing bikes from Chippenham.
Thruxton sufferes with Sunday meetings having to stop at 9.30 am for church service.
Mallory has allways had problems, the Overends lived next to the track ( they owned) and new neighbours knocked on their door asking to sign petitions.

Coombe have partially brought it on themselves by selling part of Camp off for development years ago.
People pay for searches and solicitors to check , but they dont like to risk loosing a sale for being honest.
Barney Williams (GP) moved in opposite the gravel pits at Christian Malford, got them shut down because of dust. he then moved to Foxham under Lynehams flight path then lobbied to get the base closed. I expect he would be happy if he still lived there now.
