    From my limited experience of temps down to minus 20 oC and biking down to -7 oC ( not including wind chill where present) .... use Gortex , slightly loose fitting gloves, and stretch your fingers and wrist now and again to improve the circulation ... and keep a pair of silk liners for the really cold stuff of minus 20-30 oC... that lot will keep your hand toasty warm .... .     i have a set of richa winter race gloves. i find them brilliant for keeping the cold at bay without feeling like im wearing boxing gloves. i suffer from fat finger syndrome which means i normally press the wrong button or switch if my gloves are too big or baggy. i found the winter race gloves perfect. my fingers did get a touch cold when the temp really drops but nothing that is not bearable. Hopefully they won't need to be worn until the end of the year from now on though
