Just got my Ultimate ear plugs. Some straight plugs and a left plug with built in headphone (to use satnav). Brilliant! Comfortable and do the job they were designed for. Couldn't ask for more

Well worth the money. Have to have the volume on the satnav turned down pretty low as they are so efficient. Gone too is the headache inducing wind noise from my helmet

I got some mold-your-own silicon plugs from ebay the send enough for 2 sets and they work a treat! I have wonky ear holes so normal plugs dont fit or stay put. No problems with these and the kit cost £5 inc postage. They even include instructions on how to make your own bespoke headphone plugs should you have a spare set of head phones you want to sacrifice.
Strange, I've had 3 'entry level' helmets and have had no noise / wind issues whatsoever despite being a quiet freak.
I insert my plugs prior to entering Sains / Tesco outlets that have their PA turned up to Concorde take-off levels. The announcers also scream into the mikes...hurtfully loud.
Never used them on the bike.
I was using the mould your own silicon plugs. They worked OK but the professionally moulded ones are a hundred times better. Admittedly they do cost a bit, but in my case I feel the expense was definitely worth it.
