hi guys and gals. just thought i'd post a couple of pics to remind you all that accidents are sometimes unavoidable, my son recently got his first road bike. we built it together, his pride and joy. that was untill a modeo decided to swing across his lane to grab a parking space, apparantly he didnt see the bright yellow bike my son was on. thankfully he's alive, with a few extra screws and plates in his elbow now. this was sunday just gone. 17/8/14

That is a massive crash. Glad he is ok.
When it's your time to go it's your time, so don't let it catch you.

Glad he is ok. That looks like one hell of a impact it's snapped the frame at the head.

indeed it has, at its widest point too! you can see where he landed in the back ground you can just make out the paramedic crouched over him.

Jesus, glad to hear he's on the mend, best wishes for a full recovery. TBH I was kind of glad when my lad decided against a bike after a prang on his 'ped that only left him with a broken to and smashed forks but could have been so much worse.

crikey that's a very nasty accident and looks like he travelled a huge distance. Good to hear he's not worse off given those pics
