    Hi and welcome to WB
We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.”

    Hi Gavuk

He was overtaking a very large van between Box and Bath on 19th Feb this year. Unfortunately there was a small van in front of this van that was pulling over to the left to turn 90% right. This meant that he wasn't able to see this van until it was too late. He hit the OS rear of van at right angles and broke both wrists and some ribs. Not a high speed crash but the xjr caught fire and burnt out (we still don't know why). The witnesses dragged him out from underneath the bike and probably saved his life. He is better now and returned to work a couple of weeks ago. A harsh lesson for a very minor mistake. His xjr was only a year old and was jet black with a lot of chrome. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm addicted to fairings I would have got an xjr rather than the CB1300.

    Cheers
