    Yep - wear what you like, and feel comfortable in.
    But if you do take a tumble, you'll be picking gravel out of your arse / arms / back / legs / everywhere (delete as appropriate) for weeks.

    I quite like a bit of pain, but gravel rash isn't good.

    Apparently it's why surgeons prefer to see real bad bike accident cases wearing leathers as although bits and bobs get mashed up the leathers at least keep things roughly in the right place where as textiles can let ti all float about or so I'm told. Racers don't wear leathers purely for the advertising space.

    God knows where my b*lls will end up if I hit a tree with my cargoes on ; )
