Fellow bikers! My son, Jonny, is set upon buying a Kawasaki ZX636-A1P of 2003 vintage. This as great news, as he had his Honda CB600 F2 nicked when he was in Leeds.. I'm going to see the bike in Newbury, at a Suzuki and Yamaha dealership, on Tuesday (25th Feb) in Newbury. I'd really appreciate some thoughts on this bike and what I should look for .... any particular problems or whatever. PS ... anyone who wants to join me on the ride from Chippenham to Newbury is very welcome to join me. I intend to do the A4 route ..... Chippers, Calne, Malbro, Newbury. For me, its the nearest I'll ever get to riding Route 66!!!

PS, the reason I am keen to give him the best advice is that he lives in Bergerac, France. He and a mate who is buying a bike in Yorkshire, will be taking their bikes to Portsmouth and thence, by ferry, to Santander, in Spain, then driving over the Pyrenees to Bergerac. Cheers Richard.
