Lets see if we we can get them all fixed as it's obviously a 'Hot Topic' at the moment.
My next challenge is the resurface of the A350 out towards the crematorium - virtually no Tarmac left and gauges like tram lines over a mile stretch - that will be my mission Tomorrow (Might have to use a pseudonym now though) as I've stirred up a hornets nest.

Let's get these councils working with us.....
    It's our money after all!

Well done, i'm guilty of moaning about it but not complaining, most of my commute into Bristol is littered with holes - a few of them are really painful if sat too close to the petrol tank....

I will endevour to make notes on where they are and get calling/emailing etc.

Yeah - I have suffered from Petrol tank grind too - it hurts!

Get complaining - but remember do it in a nice friendly way and youll achieve results
    - If you go in all guns blazing - the person at the other end of the phone will close off - and won't be interested in resolving it!

I am not willing to put up with this any longer.
They have taken the top covering off of the road which has made a massive improvement already

Thanx Swanny - I didn't get chance to get down there the other day.
Glad they've started to get it sorted finally.
I'll have a look Tomorrow afternoon.
    Thnx for the update!

They haven't done anything since, it's still just top covering removed. The roads are in a terrible state everywhere. They were talking about the amount of money we send to India in aid which they don't want. Why can't they spend that on fixing our roads??

DFID has sent more than £1 billion of UK taxpayers’ money to India in the last five years and is planning to spend a further £600 million on Indian aid by 2015.

Indian definately doesn't need the money they even have a space program.

I read somewhere that it would cost £2.4 Billion to put our roads right. But if our lot fix them they'll be broken again within 5 minutes. Better off getting the French to do it, they know how to make good roads.
