Great video of a very very nice road. I rode the A82 on my way to Skye many moons ago and thinking we might try and go back this year.
Been riding longer than I can remember....But still enjoying it.

Cracking roads up there and that one specifically is a favourite of mine. People travel to the Alps in Europe for roads like this and we have them right here at home!

Fantastic road, walked the west highland way and stayed in Glencoe, stayed in a B&B over looking the TIT (Pap), and thought yea loved to ride that ..... minus the tourists !
Counting down until my next ride out!

Hi Col, I know the feeling about fuel, when I went up there fuel was my main worry (apart from the midges) my Bandit has a crap range, silly little tank for such a large engine, mind you it could be the rider and the way it's ridden (inserts a red faced icon), anywhere after 120 miles and I'm getting concerned, to be honest despite getting lost one afternoon we still found fuel in odd little places, strangely we found fuel but not the distillery we were looking for until nearly closing time (inserts another red faced icon) but it all came good until I asked the price of a particular bottle of Glen Ord whisky and was told £120, as it happens it's still there, I just couldn't run to a bottle of lemonade as well, that's my excuse anyway.
Like yourself I didn't have a clue about fuel but what I did was use google maps and street view I think it's called to check out the villages etc before going, if it showed a fuel station then it was noted, not the best way to go about things but it worked for us.

Strangely enough it was this clip on U-tube that made me go and ride the A82 to Inverness last year, it was somewhere I'd always wanted to ride and watching this clip just pushed the right buttons, I loved it and will certainly go back again, I found riding Glencoe and Rannoch Moor a humbling experience, we are so very small in the bigger scheme of things.
