This reminds me of something that happened a few years ago.

I was in a builders merchant and heard the staff chatting about GP.

"I've always been a Mclaren fan but I hate Alonso. I don't want him in my team!"

I turned around expecting to see Ron Dennis but instead was confronted by some fat cow talking with authority about something she clearly knows nothing about.

You hear a lot of this kind of thing these days and I must say I don't like it.
Infact it's killing the sport.


F1 is one of the few sports that the teams don't require fans to support them.
The "fans" should have no say in who drives for what team and I think it's ridiculous that they believe they should.

You only need to look at the Premiership to see what happens when you let the marketing men and accountants take the helm.

Personally I dont care who wins. I just want to see a good race!
