London biker, moved to Swindon 92.
Riding (dunno) about 30 yrs will do.
Not into the Racer style bikes like R1's ect, just like the thought of riding them like adrenaline rocket launchers!!
Instead , I prefer the easy rider style bikes , think of a Harley, you'll get my drift!
Funny thing is though, had a few over the years & couple rats and I keep blowing them up. Too much luggage + pillion on occasions & maybe too much hard riding, who know?!
So 13yrs ago, decided on a torquey bike that could keep the pace without letting me down & take the weight of luggage , still with enough power left to stay safe & enjoy the ride. So after considering a triumph, I ended up falling in love with a UK full spec 1200cc Yamaha Vmax and what a dream bike it's been. Apart from 200 batteries, few starter motors , over heating (now with override switch for fan installed), I''ve had many happy rides on it. And not forgetting how many times it's got me out of trouble and saved my life from prick car, van & lorry drivers!
So that's me now, from easy rider to street fighter style, but only in straight lines! Lol.

Coming across this site, after boredom browsing the net, has now given me hope in finding something (this site) where I can get to know like minded people as me, where biking is their passion. So looking forward to seeing how this kicks off as it's a first site I've joined (gotta beat Facebook, surely!).

Not to sure about it yet though, as not too appealing to look at on the home pages! Probably as no pretty colours or pics.

My dislikes; Became a bike instructor few years back to help our biker population and teach others how to stay Alive. Sadly though, only lasted out few months as got pissed off with wannabe young riders only wanting cbt's & not progress to full licence. This saddens me for many a reasons, safety too. So sadly thought, what the hell, kids of today think their it in all realms. So time to get on and let them choose, to learn the hard way of staying safe and never finding out what the full biking reality is really like.
Basically, I dislike mopeds as I think they're dangerous on our modern day roads and people that don't want to learn to the full.
Ride Safe and don't forget the nod
    Sonic.
