Is there a part number on it somewhere?

firstly its TLS twin leading shoe so probably atleast 500 at smallest. do you have shoes as they can be matched from a catalogue. failing that your friendly bike shop should be able to work out which shoes will fit by measuring pivots etc.

Ah, It's good to see proper footwear being worn in a workshop lol!

Thanks all, didn't think to look for a part number. I couldn't match it to any photos on google so was starting to be concerned. It's not urgent as the shoes have plenty of meat on and i will have to have a cable custom made for length.

I did look like some kind of tropical fire dancer a few minutes into using the grinder before i changed my shoes.

    I think it's off a Yamaha YM1 305cc from the mid 60's.

Good call Jon W, the only difference i can see is the extra holes between the spoke holes. Cant see why it would of been done after the factory and it's way too accurate for a home job. Still, at least the brake cable will be the same and maybe the shoes. Thanks.

Could be the wrong hub, but the front plate deffo looks YM1 (I found on on e-bay and it looks identical), and that's what the shoes fit to. Check the drum diameter and check it against the YM1 spec.

Failing that, you can get just the liners and the copper rivets. You can then make reline the shoes to suit.
