I doubt very much you could see the synch like this - it is possible to synch statically with feeler gauges but it's done rarely. The synch adjusts the amount of butterfly opening (or air bypass) when the throttle is closed. Since the engine is pulling against this very obstructed intake, it creates the vacuum and by matching these you ensure the butterflies are synchronised.

In my experience on EFI bikes, bad economy is often down to worn plugs or iffy ignition - injection is pretty bombproof, however it is prudent to keep the throttle bodies synchronised and it needs to be done as part of a normal service schedule.
