What size is the tank? What does that relate to in mpg?

Havent worked it out for a while but think i get 42 mpg on my 1000.
When it's your time to go it's your time, so don't let it catch you.

Air filter could be worth a check, if its well clogged up it could be running rich.

whats the difference in tank size? my old cbr1000 would get to Mallory from chip and back to earl shilton without hitting reserve. the fireblade that followed started to hiccup at the slip road to ES on the way up. or another way, to pembrey and back to the M4 services at Magor and the blade had to stop at Burry Port/ Pembrey.
you should be looking around 40-50 on a bike, but then todays fuel isn't as good as earlier.

Depends on the throttle useage, I get 180 to reserve on a general run, but 130 if its a little nimble.

Are your brakes binding sprocket sizes choke chain may all have a effect carb could need cleaning bowl could be sticking overflowing or even piston rings could need replaced tyre tread psi or valve timing. don't know bike but if there's a belt for aluternator or water pump need ajusting loser. wheel bearings shocks and balanced carb spark plug need new one or just loss weight drink your case of beer befor you get there
A good ride is any ride you can walk away from, a GREAT ride is if you can use the bike afterward.”
