Well I've just been and picked up a Panasonic's Lumix DMC-TZ30

It was last years top of the range and is way too good for me but it was a bargain in currys for £140
After reading loads of reviews on alsorts of cameras and speaking to 4 monkeys (I knew more about compact cameras than them) I finally found someone that knew what he was talking about and recommended the TZ30, so after reading another review I took his advice
Actually it was quite funny listening to the monkeys spouting BS and then putting them straight
But I'm a long way from being an expert on camera related stuff like RAW (whatever the **** that is)
If anyone wants one Bath currys have one left
