I always get my tyres from Steve Lynham Motorcycles at Stratton, small ind est next to the crematorium. Tel No. 01793 820630.
Steve Lynham is excellent. He is a Metzeler stockist and does good deals on the Metzeler Roadtec Interact Z8's.
He's recently put a set on my CB1000R and the bike feels great (had Dunlop Roadsmart II's previously and wear rate not too good).
Steve recommended the Z8's and I'm very happy with them. Long lasting tyre too and highly rated in reviews.
got a set from them 220 for bt16 fitted and what a difference from bt21's thing corners a lot easier, what would you say is enough to scrub your tyres in ?? 50 mile ?Originally Posted by XJ
More than enough, as long as you have ridden on total width of tyre.
I took it easy bedding my rear in only to find when looking at tyre i was riding/pushing as normally do and had no issues.
think my tyres bedded in now tyre was erm bit soft/hot when I parked it up so I think I have taken the top off them
