Does anybody know if there's anywhere local that either does motorcycle hire, or 2 day test rides? Want to take a few days off in August and go somewhere with the missus on 2 wheels...
Seems to be loads in London but I can't see any local ones. I've had cars before on weekend test drives, don't know if you can do it with bikes at all.
Riders of Bristol do bike hire.
From what I remember with my uncle doing it when he visited from Oz it was not at all cheap though.

Most people can't stay on their own bikes for more than a few hours without lobbing it down the road, can you imagine the carnage that happens when people hire a bike for the day?Originally Posted by Squashed_Fly
Got to be horrendous to insure and need a constant supply of uncrashed bikes to meet the bookings.

I guess that's why most of the places I've looked at charge £1000 deposit!
£1000 thats cheap.... Excess For bike hire is normally £4000 +.
Its Public Liability which is the killer. My Demo excess sky rocketed this year!!!
yes agree with demo excess - as birthday treat thought I would try ducati 1199 and 848 - mmmm £5000 excess on 1199 £1000 on 848 - so contented myself with 848 evo corse
