Have to apologise to everyone for deserting the forum for a while. Been a manic couple of months, but is all sorting itself out now. Those that are friends with me on Facebook know I've been getting my boys started in minimotoing, and it's taken up a lot of my spare time. My oldest lad Jay, will hopefully be doing his first outdoor race at Whilton Mill at the end of this month, providing his suit is ready. I've been trying to do everything on the cheap, which meant selling his original baby Blata, and building a bike (GRC/Polini) from parts on Ebay and anywhere else I can find bits. Although I was given a kids race suit, it needed major alterations/repairs. He's been to the Scott Redding Academy at Hullavington regularly on a Sunday, and the South West Karting track at Cheddar on a Friday evening. It's all heading in the right direction, but we'll have to see how he copes in a real race. He's already got his sights on MotoGP! Watch this space. And if anyone wants to chuck a little sponsorship money our way, anything would be appreciated. Bloody tyres are £45 each!
