    hi guys

so im going to replace the clutch plates on the gsxr to (hopefully) solve this sticking issue.

i have been told by a mechanic to use genuine suzuki plates.

he has said he has put many ebc and other makes of plates into a gsxr and eventually removed them because they were causing clutch drag.

now i have a price for a set of friction plates from suzuki £128 delivered.

a set of EBC fiction plates from wemoto £68 delivered

so there is a fair price difference.

i would prefer the cheaper option lol but i dont want to run in to trouble and have to end up buying the suzuki 1s anyway :/

has anyone used EBC clutch plates? and had problems?

surely they make them to pretty high spec and are 99% identical to originals?

going to google things to see if anyone has had issues.

but i value your advice higher than google anyday of the week

    cheers guys

    Dan

I wouldnt have thought there would be a problem but I have no experience to this so it is my opinion.

I suggest you check with the gixxer forum as I sure one or more of them have tried this.

    Good luck.
When it's your time to go it's your time, so don't let it catch you.
