Have you got the R1 run in yet? Still haven't seen Dion's 'gay' bike photos yet (we stopped on the way back from Crescent and GixerBoy made us line our bikes up for a photo shoot). Missed you on the OnFire's big day out to get his knee down - thought I saw you going the other way as we scarpered from Burford.

Let me know if you fancy an evening stroll on the bikes over in the Luverly Cotswolds.
Rex...photos have been uploaded to the gallery (apologies have been there some time now)

And Buck (wheres this name come from Buck Rogers??)

Welcome to the forums officially mate. Was a great day blasting down to Crescent and back. And def good to meet u too.

Hope u've redlined that R1 now dude...

    Hi Mac,

Yep my name is Paul but Buck is something to do with my surname. I have not yet redlined the R1 because as stipulated in the Yamaha R1 manual I can't do that until 1000 miles is on the clock - though mate I am looking forward to experiencing the 'serious clinical drive' found at 10000 RPM . When you purchase an R1 you get detailed instructions on how to care for your beloved motorcycle rather than a crayon message saying 'to go pull back the throttle' ;D

yes but not everybody can read...........................so whats the point of providing an owners manual when all you need is a big red button and a big green button ;D

crayon book Mythology seems to work well on bullet proof bikes these days, especially if they're covered under warranty lol!

I agree 1st 600mile take it a bit easy on the revs, oil and filter change then get the crayon book out ;D ;D
