Hi and welcome to the mad house!!! Dont worry we're all safe and friendly!
As far as not having a bike on the road, your not the only one! I only recently got a new (to me anyway!) bike GPX250 EX, (bit of a shed really) and Ive never had a problem with people on here coz hes not on the road. In fact Ive had lots of offers of help and advice on getting him sorted (the bike is a bloke - Millhouse - as thats who he looks like from the rear!)
It means you cant do the ride outs :'( (obviously) but you can join in with all the merry wit and banter!!! I THINK thats what they call it!!!
